- Setup your MidJourney account using this guide
- The app requires you to use Discord to interact with the AI
- To prompt, you direct message the “MidJourney Bot” via Discord

- Begin each prompt with “/imagine”

- MidJourney gives you 4 images. Top left is Image 1, top right is image 2, bottom left is image 3, and bottom right is image 4.

- Let’s say you like Image 2 and Image 4. If you want to:
- Get variations of those images, hit “V2” and “V4”
- Get the images in an individual, larger format, hit “U2” and “U4”
- If you don’t like the images it gives you, you can:
- Hit the ‘recycle’ button to run the same prompt again
- Edit the prompt to get closer to your desired output
- Then, once you have your desired output, click the image, click “Open in Browser,” and save it.
- To change the ratio of the images (make them not square), you can add “--ar 3:2” to the end of your prompt. “2:3”, “9:16”, and “16:9” also work.
